Struan makes outstanding return to Ginetta Junior, driving for Championship winning team in final race of the season

Young, Jersey-born racing driver Struan Moore made his competitive return to the Ginetta Junior Championship at the weekend after missing the previous round at Brands Hatch, and it was like he’d never been away! Sometimes the hardest outing for a sportsman is the event that takes place just after his most impressive performance yet. Going into Rockingham, Struan was still buzzing from his recent podium finishes at Snetterton and Knockhill. Hopes were high for the Jersey teenager and his Hillspeed team were all set for a repeat of the performance from the last couple of race weekends. Rockingham had drawn impressive crowds and was celebrating its 10th anniversary in style by hosting all the fantastic BTCC action.

Rounds 13 and 14 of the Ginetta Junior Championship took place at Knockhill Circuit in Scotland last weekend and proved to be a watershed moment for 16 year old rookie Struan Moore as he delivered a pair of sensational race drives. Struan had never seen the track before arriving in Scotland earlier in the week, and with two days of productive testing he quickly showed a lot of promise for the upcoming race weekend. » MORE
