Struan was on course to qualify in 18th position in the finals, which would have taken him to the European Championships. Unfortunately, a mechanical fault, which was completely out of his control, prevented him from completing the final race. With just two laps to go his front bumper, which had been damaged earlier in the race, came off resulting in a black flag.

Struan proved his ability to learn quickly and get on the pace at Nutts Corner. This was a track he had not previously experienced.

Ginetta Media Day

The annual Ginetta media day will take place on 17th March 2011 at Silverstone.
The day is organised for the handing out of race suits, judicial cameras and as
a pre-season test.
Signing on for the day will take placeon the ground floor of the BRDC suite, where Struan and fellow drivers will be issued with their 2011 race suit, championship decals, TOCA passes and driver questionnaires.
